Sanni Seppälä is the Director and Consulting Expert at CGI with experience from manufacturing, banking, forest industry and public sector. She has worked with clients on data governance, master data management, AI use case identification, data service centre, data design and development, data quality management and business process optimisation.
Throughout her career, Sanni has observed how digital development focuses on automation and cost efficiency but believes there should be more focus on seeking business growth with digitalisation and data-driven solutions. “With AI adoption on the rise, quality requirements of data and context information to ensure quality of adopted solutions are also increasing rapidly, making the new backbone for digital business.” Sanni believes that rigorous research and practical solutions “can accelerate the adoption, and showcase what can be done – and hopefully also inspire others to seek profitable growth through data and digital”.
For her, being part of CDBG is not just about being involved in the discourse of digital business growth but also about “how we can increase the adoption of the knowledge, solutions and research outcomes to benefit practitioners across industries.” Sanni is excited to bring her industry experience to the discussion and to be part of developing new solutions for growth.
